Polyelectrolyte complexes are a versatile platform for many applications. As a postdoctoral associate at Minnesota, I am researching the fundamental interactions that govern the behavior of new polyelectrolyte-based materials for gene therapy.
Molecular vibrations are a powerful tool for investigating chemical systems. In my graduate work, I developed several new tools for using ultrafast vibrational spectroscopy to investigate molecular structure and dynamics at interfaces.
